Bobcat volleyball duo to represent Canada

Published on

Two impact players with Bobcat men’s volleyball will be wearing the Maple Leaf.

Outside hitter Liam Pauls and setter JJ Love have been selected to represent Volleyball Canada’s Next Gen Team.

Pauls, Love and the Canadian squad will spend the summer training in Gatineau, Quebec in preparation for the NORCECA Pan Am Cup in Mexico from August 24 to September 1.

The Bobcat duo were instrumental in BU capturing the program’s first-ever U SPORTS national championship in March.

Love was named player of the match in the gold medal game as the host Bobcats prevailed over the Alberta Golden Bears while Pauls was recognized as a tournament all-star.

Love and Pauls are also following impressive family footsteps when it comes to donning the red and white.

JJ’s older sister Tabi and Liam’s dad Henry are both former Canadian national team members.
