Canadian middle Arthur Szwarc has surgery. Out at least 5 months

Canadian Middle and opposite for Top Volley Cisterna ,  Arthur Szwarc had surgery on December 6, 2021 by surgeon, Dr.  Riccardo Ciatti , specialist in knee surgery,  in Rome on Monday 6 December 2021. Surgery was needed following the distortion trauma of the right knee reported during a match played in Milan on November 23, with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament. Arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament with patellar tendon was performed. The recovery times are expected for about 5 months for return to competition. Szwarc has already started the rehabilitation protocol at the Villa Stuart health facility.

Szwarc plays alongside fellow Canadian Stephen Maar who is also currently sidelines with an ankle injury. There is no set time for Maar’s return but he will miss at least their December 26th match.
