LIONS VOLLEYBALL GAME STARTS MOVED EARLIER 1 HOUR AS HEAVY SNOWFALL EXPECTED SUN JAN 25
As of Saturday, January 24, 2026, 6pm, York University remains in a Weather Watch. Campuses remain open.
Heavy snowfall is expected on Sunday. As a safety precaution, the York University Lions volleyball doubleheader start times vs the Guelph Gryphons have been moved earlier by one (1) hour. The NEW game times are: women at 11:00 am, men @at 1:00 pm at the Tait McKenzie Centre.
The weather will continue to be monitored overnight, Sunday morning, and into the start of the work week. Should the University’s Weather Emergency Procedures be activated and any further changes to these games be made, this message will be updated, with at least three hours notice.
