TOP TEN RANKINGS

LANGLEY, British Columbia – This week’s U SPORTS Top 10 rankings again see the Spartans men’s volleyball team as the lone Trinity Western team ranked in the nation’s Top 10 rankings. The Spartans jump two spots to No. 7 after back-to-back 3-2 wins over the former No. 1 Alberta Golden Bears this past weekend at the Langley Events Centre in Langley, B.C.
 
The loss drops the Golden Bears to No. 2 and allows the Sherbrooke Vert et Or move up to the No. 1 spot
 
The Spartans will now travel to Calgary, Alta. to take on the Calgary Dinos on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. With game times set for 7:30 p.m. (MT), and 4 p.m. (MT). Both matches can be seen live on Canada West TV.

As official members of U SPORTS, the Spartans currently compete in 13 sports in the Canada West conference, including women’s and men’s soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, cross country and track & field, as well as women’s rugby sevens.
