University of Toronto Varsity Blues women’s volleyball assistant coach Vincenzo Mallia has been named an assistant coach of the Canadian women’s national team for the 2021 season.
 
Vincenzo Mallia became a full-time assistant coach with the Varsity Blues women’s volleyball program at the beginning of the 2014-15 season. Since then, the Blues have won four OUA and one national title.

The Canadian national women’s team will compete in their first-ever Volleyball Nations League (VNL) in a yet to be announced “bubble” location this year.
