Queen’s Women’s Volleyball swept their weekend series with the RMC Paladins Saturday, defeating their crosstown rivals 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-20).

With the win, the Gaels’ started the season 2-0.

Hannah Duchesneau (Sharon, Ont.) led Queen’s offence with a game-high nine kills while also adding two aces and three digs.

Christine Abu (Calgary, Alta.) contributed three blocks in the win while Kennedy Millin (St. Catharines, Ont.) recorded 13 assists and Kristine Boileau (Waterloo, Ont.) finished with seven digs.

The Gaels return to the court next weekend, hosting the Trent Excalibur in a double header on Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11.
