The Nipissing Lakers men’s volleyball team’s playoff run came to an end much quicker than they would have liked.
The Lakers fall 3-0 (25-27, 21-25, 19-25) to the York Lions in Round 1 of the OUA Playoffs Friday night on the road.
Despite an impressive regular season, the Lakers dropped their quarter-final match and are eliminated from the post-season.
Marc Marchand had seven kills to lead the Lakers in the contest.
