QUOTABLE
Adam Schriemer, TWU Head Coach
“The biggest gap today was the terminal serve battle. Giving up 10 aces in three sets is just not something you can do to win a game. As the game went on, we started making far too many errors offensively. San Diego is a well-coached team and they’re really organized and they played at a high level and we couldn’t match it.”

The Spartans will return to Canada West action next weekend with a trip to Winnipeg to play the University of Manitoba Jan. 10-11. TWU is back home Jan. 17-18 when the Spartans host No. 1-ranked Alberta.
