Stars of the Week

TORONTO – The Bold are pleased to announce the following student-athletes as the stars of the week, ending January 12.

Emily Baxter – Women’s Hockey – Graduate Student – Masters, Biomedical Sciences

• Led the Bold to a weekend split in Ottawa
• Scored the game-winning goal against Carleton in a 4-2 win on Friday
• Collected one goal and assist in a loss at Ottawa on Saturday

Jordan D’Intino – Men’s Hockey – 1st Year – Business Management

• Tallied two-multi point games in back-to-back wins to open 2025
• Registered one goal and one assist in a 4-3 win over Brock on Friday
• Produced one goal and one assist in a 5-3 victory over RMC on Saturday

Scarlett Gingera – Women’s Volleyball – 4th Year – Fashion Communication

• Produced double-digits in two matches against Western
• Amassed 10 kills and 11 digs in Saturday’s contest
• Recorded her 500th career kill in Saturday’s game

Kaillie Hall – Women’s Basketball – 5th Year – Sport Media

• Scored 20-plus points in back-to-back games, a loss to Carleton and a win over Brock
• Generated 21 points on 6-for-13 shooting in the loss to the Ravens
• Led the Bold with 21 points on 8-for-16 shooting against the Badgers

Will Portokalis – Men’s Hockey – 3rd Year – Business Management

• Powered the Bold to wins over Brock and RMC
• Scored powerplay goal versus Brock
• Dominated with one goal and three assists against the Paladins

Jacob Walker – Women’s Volleyball – 4th Year – Business Management 

• Led the Bold in a split against the Western Mustangs
• Carried the Bold in a comeback 3-2 victory on Saturday
• Recorded 19 kills, 11 digs and two service aces in the victory
