Stars of the Week

TORONTO – The Bold are pleased to announce the following student-athletes as the stars of the week, ending January 26, 2025.

Rayanna Amos-Ross Fisher – Women’s Volleyball – 1st Year – Graphic Communications Management

• Was a force for the Bold in two matches against Guelph
• Tallied two blocks in each game
• Recorded four kills and two service aces in Saturday’s contest

Cailey Davis – Women’s Hockey – 4th Year – Psychology

• Played in two games for the Bold, against Brock and Guelph
• Scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Brock
• Delivered an assist in the game against Guelph

Riley Donovan – Men’s Volleyball – 3rd Year – Business Management

• Appeared in two matches for the Bold against Guelph
• Collected career highs of 17 kills, two service aces and six digs in Friday’s game
• Registered four kills, one service ace, two digs and one block on Saturday

Hailey Franco-DeRyck – Women’s Basketball – 2nd Year – Accounting & Finance

• The OUA’s second-leading rebounder grabbed double-digit rebounds in back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday
• Totaled eight points and 12 rebounds in Friday’s win over Queen’s
• Produced a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds in Saturday’s win over Ontario Tech

Dechlan Papadopoulos – Wrestling – 3rd Year – Geographic Analysis

• Competed for TMU at the Western Open on Sunday
• Captured the gold medal in the 65kg category
• Won four matches to secure the title

Aaron Rhooms – Men’s Basketball – 4th Year – Business Management

• The top-scorer in the OUA led the Bold in two games against Queen’s and Ontario Tech
• Scored 28 points in a tight loss to Queen’s, shooting an efficient 9-for-18 from the field
• Registered 31 points on 13-of-20 shooting in a dominant win over Ontario Tech
