The Brock Badgers women’s volleyball remains in the U SPORTS Top 10 after a 1-1 weekend.

The Badgers dropped one spot from their ranking last week.
Over the weekend, the Badgers spilt a doubleheader series with the Windsor Lancers.
In the first contest on Saturday, Jan. 18, the Badgers fell in four sets (25-27, 25-23, 24-26, 20-25) to the Lancers in a tight battle. Leading the way was Sadie Dick who had 18 points off 15 kills and 3.5 blocks. Four other Badgers finished with double digits in points (Laurina Ainsworth, Laura Baruchelli, Emily Foest, Charlotte Ross). Brock put up a .118 hitting percentage while Windsor led the match with .274.
Avenging their loss from the previous day, the Badgers came out firing and did not look back as they completed a 3-0 sweep (25-18, 25-18, 25-20). Once again, Brock was led by Sadie Dick who earned 14.5 points off 10 kills and 2.5 blocks. Two more players were in double-digits as middles Emma Baruchelli and Charlotte Ross ended with 11.5 points and 12.5 points, respectively.
Up next, the Badgers travel to London, ON for a doubleheader date with the Western Mustangs on Friday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 25 at 2 p.m.
