‘We were blown away by his athleticism’: Versatile outside hitter Jamin Ekhaguere commits to Bisons men’s volleyball

Published on

One of the top talents coming out of Ontario, outside hitter Jamin Ekhaguere has announced his commitment to the Bisons men’s volleyball team. The 6’3″, 190-pound standout brings a wealth of experience to the Herd, including a six-month stint internationally in 2025 with JSW Academy, where he trained and lived in Poland. A three-year member of Team Ontario, Ekhaguere has also travelled to Slovenia with the provincial program for international competition.

Ekhaguere is a three-time Senior Boys MVP and two-time provincial champion (2023 and 2024). He was also a U16 OVA Grand Prix All-Star in 2024, and U18 OVA Grand Prix All-Star in 2025.

“We were blown away by his athleticism. He has the ability to move so fluidly, but has a ton of power that balances him out as a great athlete and someone we see thriving in a competitive Canada West conference,” raved Bisons head coach Lupo Ludwig.
