Former Canadian Beach Volleyball Olympian Jamie Broder breaks down the rise of beach volleyball in Canada, and the women’s teams quest for gold.

At the 2016 Rio Olympics Jamie Broder was part of the Canadian team representing her country on the beach. She and her partner Kristina Valjas would eventually get knocked out of the playoffs by fellow Canadians Sarah Pavan and Heather Bansley. Broder retired following the Rio Games and now she and her family are cheering on Pavan and Bansley as they both have their eyes on the Olympic podium – but each with new partners. In this interview Broder breaks down what she’s seen so far this tournament with Momentum’s Emily Cordonier.
