Bobcats cap off repping Canada with win

The Brandon University men’s volleyball team wrapped up the NORCECA Final Six on a winning note.

Matthew Siebenga had seven kills and three blocks as Team Canada swept Suriname 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-15) on Sunday in the tournament’s fifth-place game.

Tom Friesen scored six service aces and Kingston Thomas added 14 digs for the defending U SPORTS national champions.

The Bobcats have a quick turnaround with the Canada West regular season starting October 17th in Vancouver against the UBC Thunderbirds.
